Celebrating the Rare Disease Community at Top Golf
On December 15, 2024, the Rare Wish team, including Founder Beth Nguyen, CEO Trena Myers, and board members Paul Freeman and Matt Conway, gathered for a heartfelt thank you event at Top Golf. This special occasion was designed to express gratitude to the rare disease community and celebrate their resilience and spirit.

A Day of Fun and Connection
The event welcomed members of the rare disease community to enjoy a complimentary round of golf, generously sponsored by Rare Disease Research of Atlanta and Fort Safety. Participants had the opportunity to connect with one another, share their stories, and enjoy a day filled with laughter and camaraderie. Rare Wish's CEO, Trena Myers, attended with her Ms. Elite United USA 2024 sash and crown to enhance the evenings "sparkle".
Granting Rare Wishes
One of the highlights of the event was the granting of two Rare Wishes—one for a child and another for an adult. We sent a gift basket to the child and the adult received house cleaning and car maintenance in order to attend medical appointments. These wishes are a testament to Rare Wish's commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by rare diseases, bringing joy and hope to families facing challenging circumstances.
A Sneak Peek of Code Rare
In addition to the festivities, attendees were treated to an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming initiative, Code Rare software program. This program aims to enhance awareness and support for the rare disease community, and participants were excited to learn more about its potential impact.
Thank You to Our Sponsors and Supporters
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Rare Disease Research of Atlanta and Fort Safety for their generous support in making this event possible. Your commitment to the rare disease community is invaluable.
As we reflect on this wonderful day, we are reminded of the strength and unity within the rare disease community. Together, we can continue to make a difference and support one another in our journeys.
Stay tuned for more updates from Rare Wish as we move forward in our mission to grant wishes and uplift those affected by rare diseases.
